Introduction:

Nowadays, claw machine shops are popular in Japan or Korea. However, is it still famous to play in Hong Kong? Do Hong Kong teenagers still play claw machines and willing to pay on it? We have interviewed one of the claw machines shop owners, Grace Lam, and she revealed some ideas in Hong Kong Claw Machines cultures. Other than that, some photos taken by customers also indicated that people are still playing claw machines and get the squishy toys.

All claw machines in the shop bought by Grace Lam were new and with different cartoon toys inside the machines.

Grace Lam is Lamchici(淋吱吱) claw machine shop’s owner and started her own business since mid April 2019.

One of the claw machines’ names was called 頭頭貓, which is one of the shipowner's cat name.

Coins change machine provided coins changing services to customers so as to be more convenience when they want to play with it.

Different cartoon characters were in the claw machines, such as Pikachu, Tiger, and Stitch.

Lots of people still supported claw machine shops and got their prizes successfully.

The famous Korean cartoon characters - LINE family, the white rabbit called Cony and the bear called Brown also launched in the claw machines shop.
